Holly Springs Pilgrimage

The Holly Springs Annual Pilgrimage is a beloved event held by the Holly Springs Garden Club.

The event kicks off with our annual golf tournament followed by events featuring tours of historic homes, churches and museums led by local guides and storytellers, organ recitals in the town’s historic churches, luncheons, a character-guided cemetery tour, arts and crafts and a southern brunch in the historic Montrose mansion.

Proceeds from the tour benefit the preservation and restoration of Montrose.

Events Details

Pilgrimage Headquarters - for day of accommodations, information and souvenir purchases.

Headquarters for the 82nd Annual Holly Springs Pilgrimage will be located at the FBC Holly Springs Christian Activity Center (CAC), located at 190 E. College Ave. (across the street from the FBC Holly Springs Sanctuary located at 185 E. College Ave.).

Headquarters will serve as your go-to location for day of event ticket purchasing, information, and mementos! You can also stop by to rest/use the facilities. HSGC Members will be on site to welcome you and help with any questions you may have!

If you have bought tickets online, e-tickets were emailed to you and can be saved to your Apple wallet or can be shown from your phone email at homes and/or events upon entry, no need to check-in at Headquarters for tickets already purchased.

While you have all you need for your event with this e-ticket, still feel free to stop by Headquarters to see about other events or pick up a t-shirt, coffee mug, Christmas ornament, and more!

For events with limited seating/tickets, it is highly recommended that you purchase tickets on our website - link below to ticket purchases. Pilgrimage Queen

Rosamond Barnett

Rosamond is the daughter of Ms. Anita Barnett and the late Mr. Heath Barnett of Holly Springs. Rosamond is a Senior at Marshall Academy where she is a Varsity Cheerleader and a member of the Key, Beta, and Anchor Clubs. She is currently serving as President of the MA Student Council.

Rosamond’s accomplishments include: 7th and 8th Grade Class Favorite; Class President her 7th, 8th, Freshmen, and Junior years; Vice President of the MA Student Council her Junior year; 2nd Alternate in the MA Beauty Revue and Miss Junior High Marshall Academy, both in 2021; and in the Spring of 2023, she was a Diamond Girl for the MA Patriots Baseball Team.

Rosamond served on the Homecoming Court as a Freshman, Sophomore, and Senior Maid. Most recently, as a Senior Maid, she was chosen as the 2023 Homecoming Queen at Marshall Academy.

Rosamond is a member of First Baptist Church Holly Springs. After graduation, Rosamond plans to attend Mississippi State University where she will major in Political Science. After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree, she plans to attend law school at the Univeristy of Mississippi.

Gracie Hendrix

Gracie Lynne Hendrix is the daughter of Burke Hendrix of Hernando, Mississippi and Emily Hendrix of Holly Springs, Mississippi. She is a senior at Briarcrest Christian High School, where she is a member of the National Honor Society and the French Honor Society. Gracie is a leader of the Briarcrest Wilson Society, a group that participates in community service for the Memphis area. She is the co-President of the Briarcrest Student Ambassadors. Gracie is the Chaplain and a founding member of the Girls Mentor Girls Club. She is the also the Chaplain of the French Club and French Honor Society. She is a member of the Animal Rescue Club, the Medical Professions Club, and the Madonna Club, which is a club that volunteers at a school for children with Down Syndrome. Gracie is an eight-time recipient of the Great Works of the Heart Award for Literary and Fine Arts Excellence at Briarcrest.

Last year, Gracie had the honor of representing Oak Grove Hunt Club as a Germantown Charity Horse Show Princess. Outside of school, Gracie is a member of the Ingrams Mill Saddle club, where she enjoys competing with her horses. She is a member of First Baptist Church, Holly Springs and is an active member of the youth group.

During her breaks from school, Gracie loves working at Willow Bend Animal Clinic in Holly Springs. Gracie will attend Mississippi State University in August of 2024, where she will study Animal and Dairy Science on a Pre-Veterinary track.

Gracie has dreamed of serving as a Holly Springs Pilgrimage Queen since she was little, and she is so grateful for this opportunity!

Elise Hendrix

Elise Hendrix, daughter of Ms. Emily Hendrix of Holly Springs and Mr. Burke Hendrix of Hernando, is a senior at Briarcrest Christian High School in Eads, Tennessee.

At Briarcrest, Elise is a member of the National Honor Society and the French Honor Society. Elise is also the Vice President of the French Honor Society and French Club. She is co-President of Student Ambassadors and a leader of the Briarcrest Wilson Society. Elise is the Secretary and a founding member of the Girls Mentor Girls club, and is a member of numerous other clubs, including the Briarcrest Animal Rescue Club.

Elise is a 5-time recipient of the Joseph A. Clayton Award for Academic Excellence.

After high school, Elise will attend Mississippi State University, where she will major in Animal and Dairy Science on a Pre-Veterinary track. She has been accepted to Mississippi State’s College of Veterinary Medicine through the Early Entry Program. During school breaks, Elise enjoys working at Willow Bend Animal Clinic, an experience that has greatly prepared her for her future in Veterinary Medicine.

Elise is a member of First Baptist Church in Holly Springs and is an active member of the youth group. Elise is an avid equestrian and is a member of the Ingrams Mill Saddle Club, where she and her horse Copy finished their 2023 show season as the Open Keg Shod Country Pleasure champions. In addition to serving as a Pilgrimage Queen, Elise is also representing Oak Grove Hunt Club as a 75th annual Germantown Charity Horse Show Princess.

Presley Allen

Presley is the son of Mr. Earnest Allen and Mrs. Christi Allen of Red Banks, MS. Presley is a 2023 graduate of Marshall Academy, where he attended since K-5. He started playing pee-wee football in the 4th grade and continued playing football until 10th grade. Presley was in the Fishing Club; involved with the Ukraine Mission; and won awards in Science and Life Skills. Presley loved his time at Marshall Academy. Presley was involved in the First Baptist Youth Group for 4 years.

Presley is currently a Freshmen at Northwest Mississippi Community College in Oxford, MS where he is majoring in Business and Criminal Justice. After 2 years at NWMCC, he plans to transfer to the University of Mississippi to finish his 4 year degree. After that, he wants to work towards becoming an ATF Agent or a MS Department of Wildlife Game Warden.

During Presley’s free time, he enjoys taking his fishing boat out to fish; hunting; mud riding on his four wheeler; and most of all, spending time with his family and friends.

Winston Fant

Winston Fant is the son of David and Dianene Fant of Laws Hill, Mississippi. Winston is a Freshman at Mississippi State University where he is currently undeclared but exploring several majors. He is active in Beta Upsilon Chi fraternity, where he is a member of the Brotherhood and Retreat teams. Winston has continued his love of helping others by performing community service in the Starkville area with the Brickfire Project, Starkville Strong, and Starkville Frostbite Race. He also served as a buddy for a second year with Tim Tebow’s Night to Shine. Winston is a member of the Day One Leadership class; on the President’s List; and attends PineLake College Church.

Winston is a 2023 High Honors Graduate of Marshall Academy and was the Class of 2023 Salutatorian. Winston received many recognitions his senior year including: Hall of Fame; Recipient of the Daughters of American Revolution Citizenship Award; Zeta Upsilon Zeta Marshall County and Marshall Academy Outstanding Student Awards; Jennifer Whisenant Community Service Award; Anchor Club Member of the Year; and Marshall Academy Service Award.

During Winston’s time at Marshall, he had many accomplishments that include:

•A member of the Varsity Football team for four years, where he received the Defensive Lineman MVP and a 2nd team all conference member for three years

•Member of the Student Council for five years, where he served as Treasurer his Senior year
